Today was a very special day in our household - our son Collin finally made it to the age where he was ready to take his drivers test! He made sure he looked good, just in case he had a female teacher - he would use his swag.
We prepared him the best we could, I let him drive the school bus a few times and drive his siblings around to their friends homes and while he was not very happy about it, we were confident it was helping!
That day, our granddaughter Ivy came into town and asked if we would sign for her so she could have her test. We gladly did and helped the kids with the fee.
Did I mention...we waited...a long time? Well we did! We waited a very long time and of course my son was concentrating on playing candy crush on his phone, he missed his number being called!
There was a bit of an altercation inside the DMV between Collin and the teacher, luckily, the guy still took him for the test. As you could see, our son is not amused but at least his hands were on 10 and 4 o clock!
After all was said and done, the kids both arrived back to the DMV where we were waiting. We went in and took a seat and .... waited some more! o.O! BUT FINALLY, the moment came! They BOTH Passed!!!
Well, our son was really ready for his new car that I have been promising him since he was 4 years old! We had some extra money we put into a bond when Ivy was born so we cashed those in and bought them both cars!
Are you surprised that Ivy went for a pink! :P
